Humans of Neenah

Posted on by Future Neenah

The NHS students of teacher Tara Meinke’s class in the Arete program have embarked on a journey to help us learn about the unique and diverse members of this community that make Neenah a great place to live, work and play. Special thanks to these students for sharing their creativity with us. Humans of Neenah (as well as a walking tours of Neenah) will be ongoing features on our blog.

Can’t Imagine Living Anywhere Else

Pam Hillen has lived in the Fox Cities for most of her life. She graduated as valedictorian from Menasha High School and went to college to pursue her dreams. After college, she moved back to Wisconsin and has lived in Neenah for over 26 years. There are many things she loves about Neenah. Some of these are the friendly positive people, great location, beautiful sights, shopping, and being relatively close to other bigger cities. She can’t imagine living anywhere else and still be able to call it home. One of the biggest reasons she loves Neenah is the great education and the leadership of the school district. She believes they step up and push students to excel and do their best in order to achieve their dreams. She is currently working as a flight nurse on the ThedaStar helicopter here in town. Pam Hillen is truly a unique and special person in our community. No matter what happens she will go out of her way to help others. Her kindness and compassion is some of her many qualities that makes her a great role model.
