Girlfriends Read Book Club

Join us in reading The Haunted House Project by Wisconsin author Tricia Clasen. In her book, we are introduced to a strong thirteen-year-old girl named Andie. She and her family are struggling to keep daily life moving forward after the loss of her mother. They are each grieving in different ways, and Andie is aware that things in their house, in their life, need to get better. Andie must work through her grief while also working through the ups and downs of friendships and schoolwork. With the help of a new friend, she thinks she has an idea that will help bring her family back together…

We have a wonderful opportunity to Skype with author Tricia Clasen during our book group meeting. Please bring your thoughts and questions for the author. Girlfriends Read features books with strong girl characters, written for ages nine and up but with broad appeal. Meetings include lively discussion, book-related activities, and snacks. Participants are welcome to attend solo or with a friend or family member.
