THE GREAT NPL BAKE OFF: SIGNATURE EDITION

Are you famous among your friends and family for a special baked good? Wondering how your signature bake stacks up against the competition? Then be sure to participate in the first ever Great NPL Bake Off! No registration necessary. Bakers simply need to bring in their best tried-and-tested baked good by 1:30pm on Sunday, May 3rd to enter the competition. Patrons that are interested in trying out the baked goods and giving support to the competitors are invited to attend at 2:00pm. Awards will be given out by judges. There will also be a “crowd favorite” award – so bakers be sure to invite your friends.

Baked goods will be judge on the following criteria:

Appearance: it should have a certain “wow” factor!

Texture: is it scrumptious? Be sure it doesn’t have a soggy bottom!

Taste: is it amazing?

Complete Rules:

1. Baked goods are to be prepared by you before the competition (not during.)
2. Please bring in a printout of ingredients. This will be displayed near your baked good in case of food allergies.
3. Serving utensils and plates will be provided. However, please bring in a cutting utensil.
4. Since your baked good will be judged partially on appearance, please do not cut into portions before the competition.
5. Participants must arrive by 1:30pm.
6. This is a fun competition. Please adhere to a spirit of goodwill and be kind to each other.
