How is Future Neenah funded?

Future Neenah, Incorporated is funded by contributions from a diverse group of donors. The organization is solely supported by the generosity of individuals and corporations. We do NOT receive any funding from the United Way or the City of Neenah. During the 2006 campaign, Future Neenah received 509 contributions from corporations, small businesses, families, individuals and foundations. Because Future Neenah is a 501(c) 3 not-for profit organization, all contributions are tax deductible. An annual fundraising campaign is kicked-off in September and ends in December, with gifts and pledges being accepted until July 31 of the following year.  

How can you help? The projects and programs of Future Neenah have long-lasting impact on our community. Many generations will benefit from the enhanced quality of life created by your investment. There are many ways that you can contribute to Future Neenah:

(1) Become a fundraising volunteer: Call Future Neenah (722-1920) to become involved and assist by making phone calls or visits to prospective donors and businesses.
(2) Make a pledge or contribution to Future Neenah.
(3) Make a gift of stock to Future Neenah and receive tax benefits! Future Neenah's policy is to sell the stock immediately upon receipt. Gifts of stock are directed to Robert W. Baird & Co. in Neenah.
(4) Make a specified gift to Future Neenah's endowment fund at the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley.
(5) Remember Future Neenah in your will.

Future Neenah's Endowment Fund - The Neenah Community Fund. Thanks to a specified contribution in 1996, a long-term endowment fund was established to sustain Future Neenah's ongoing community development projects. The fund, known as the Neenah Community Fund, is currently managed by the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley. Anyone can contribute to the fund at any time by making their gift payable to the Neenah Community Fund. Contributions can be sent directly to Future Neenah or to the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley at 4455 W Lawrence Street, Appleton, WI 54912-0563. The fund can accept any size donation in the form of cash, stock, real estate or personal property. All contributions will receive the maximum tax benefits allowed for charitable gifts. Future Neenah's endowment fund is one of hundreds of named funds that the Community Foundation manages. The fund is invested professionally for long-term growth and will be a permanent source of funding to supplement Future Neenah's operating budget each year.
