Contest Rules

·         The Future Neenah Holiday / Winter Photo Contest is open to photographers age 12 through adult.  

·         Maximum three entries per person, per category will be considered.

·         Submissions must be original photography.   No retouched, syndicated, copyrighted, clip art images or photography.

·         Photo subject matter or location must be Neenah based.

·         A photography release must be provided for any winning entries depicting identifiable persons. 

·         The judging panel reserves the right not to award a prize in a category if no entry qualifies to be published.

·         Only one prize per person per category will be allowed. 

·         Winners will be announced in the March 2012 issue of the Future Neenah Magazine. 

Entry Specifications

The entry must meet the following specifications:

·         Size: 4" x 6", either vertical or horizontal.

·         Photos may be either color or black and white.

·         Quantity, Submit 4 – 4x6" prints + a high resolution digital output of photo on CD or by email (info@neenah.org).  Any submissions, including photos and CDs, will not be returned and become the property of Future Neenah. 

·         The following form must accompany each entry.  When submitting more than one photo, you must submit one entry form per photo.

·         Photo dates.  Photo submissions may have been taken 12/1/10 through 12/31/11.

·         Deadline for submission is January 9, 2012.

·         Entries may be mailed to or dropped off at the Future Neenah Inc. office located at 135 W. Wisconsin Ave., Neenah, 54956.  For more information call 722-1920

Theme

•  All photo entries must contain a holiday or winter theme in Neenah.  (i.e. a snow covered Memorial Park, a shanty on Lake Winnebago, skaters at Washington Park, Santa on the fire dept. float)

Judging Criteria

·         Clear message conveyed by photo.

·         Photo closest to theme and category. 

·         Creativity, originality, clarity and artistic quality

Awards

One $75 Prize will be awarded in each category.  One overall winner will be chosen as the cover photo for the 4^th quarter 2012 Future Neenah Magazine including a photo credit and bio.  The magazine has a circulation of 6,000.
