We are making our list and checking it twice in preparation for the Tenth Annual Neenah Community Christmas Event including the Symphony's Holiday Pops Concert on November 29, 2007, the Live Mannequin Event on November 30, 2007, and the citywide celebration on December 1, 2007.
THE HOLIDAY POPS CONCERT:
On Thursday, November 29 enjoy a home-for-the-holidays family concert at 7pm in Neenah High School's Pickard Auditorium as the Fox Valley Symphony collaborates with Future Neenah for a festive kick-off to the Neenah Community Christmas Event. Click here for more info:

THE LIVE MANNEQUIN EVENT IN DOWNTOWN NEENAH:
Friday, November 30 from 5 to 7pm visitors can stroll through historic Downtown Neenah and view the living windows and outdoor displays at businesses. You can also enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride, listen to the songs of the season by carolers, and get into the holiday spirit by doing a little 'Window Shopping' at the same time. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1:
Hundreds of people come to Neenah every year to kick off the holidays!
*Breakfast with Santa from 7 - 9 a.m. at Pappa's Cafe.
* Rudolph Family Fun Run (This 9 a.m. walk/run begins @ Riverside Park and ends at the Clock Tower. Sponsored by Community First Credit Union)

* Trolley Rides (With stops at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum, Library/Shattuck Park, Neenah Historical Society at the First United Methodist Church and Downtown Neenah)
TROLLEY STOP INFO:
In Downtown Santa will be at the Marketplace with special goodie bags courtesy of Lakeview Credit Union. See characters in historic period dress. At Future Neenah visitors can have a warm cup of traditional Wassail or hot chocolate. When at FNI try your luck at the giant present filled with gifts. Young and old can have their faces painted by Best Friends at Mom & Pop Place. Enjoy music by The Harper's Star at Eco Candle Company from 10am - Noon.
"It's a Perfect Day for a Snowball" at the Neenah Public Library. Popcorn, stories and a craft. Performances of several short, fun puppet plays presented by the Neenah Library Puppet Players at 11am and 12, 1 and 2pm.
Ice Sculptures, Marshmallow and Hot Dog Roasting and Live Reindeer will be at Shattuck Park. (Reindeer are 11am-2pm only.) Come to warm up by the grills and watch the ice carvers at work (9am-Noon)!
Experience Christmas around the World at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum. There will be a holiday scavenger hunt throughout the gallery and ornament making.
"Snowflakes and Santa" is the theme for the Neenah Historical Society. Make ornaments and enjoyrefreshments at the First United Methodist Church.
Additional Attractions / Non Trolley Stops:
*Gingerbread House Building (This activity is thru Parks & Rec so call 886-6060 to RSVP your gingerbread house, fee for this is $12.)
*Horse Drawn Hay Wagon Rides at Best Western Bridgewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center. Rides depart from the golf course clubhouse on the hour and half hour from noon to 3 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. Some activities may require a small fee.
CITY WIDE HOLIDAY HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST:
City wide contest with Downtown Neenah gift certificate prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in this City Wide contest. Judging will be held the weekend of December 7-9, 2007.
