Humans of Neenah

Posted on by Future Neenah

The NHS students of teacher Tara Meinke’s class in the Arete program have embarked on a journey to help us learn about the unique and diverse members of this community that make Neenah a great place to live, work and play. Special thanks to these students for sharing their creativity with us. Humans of Neenah (as well as a walking tours of Neenah) will be ongoing features on our blog.

Neenah Is Love

Tina Palmer, owner of Vintique in downtown Neenah, has a passion for the community and her beautiful shop. Vintique is a specialty clothing store. Tina travels around the US in search of creative and extraordinary shops, articles, and clothing. She is originally from Neenah, and opened her store on October 1, 2009. After several years in the travel industry and traveling all over the world, she always felt at home in Neenah. Tina was inspired to create her store from her travels, her grandfather who gave her the interest of antiques, her father’s interest in history, and her daughter’s love for fashion. “Neenah is Love” says Tina. She has lived in Neenah her whole life and loves the historic and unique setting for the city. She likes that Neenah combines new and old in many ways. Some of her favorite places in Neenah are The Natural Boutique by Botanical Indulgence, Timshel Cafe, Cannova’s, and the Farmers Market. When asked, what she would like to tell people about Neenah, she said “Neenah is very friendly, safe, and unique.”
